Grado and its lagoon offer an artistic, historic and original anthropologic landscape special to Fruli Venezia Giulia and the province of Gorizia. The lagoon is a tangle of canals and valleys amongst the small lagoon islands and consists of a delicate ecosystem, perfectly preserved and unique in the world. There are two great natural reserves, ideal habitat for tens of species of aquatic birds where they nest and take migration stops.
On the Island of Grado, the golden beach welcomes the tourists. Places to visit:
